I'm sick of shadows when I'm using flash in portrait mode, the position of the flash creates shadows, so I've taken a liking to the ebay Chinese knockoff of the Stroboflip VH2000.
This is the genuine http://tiffen.com/displayproduct.htm...temnum=300-100
This is the Knockoff version http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Flash-Rotatin...3%3A1|294%3A50
As you can see, the price difference is enormous, Genuine is US$110.00 + freight, and the knockoff is AU$36.00 delivered.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of unit?

and the light was either above and to left for landscape format or above and to right for portrait, if you get the idea.
and the old flash is bust too, but I may still have the bracket though
(for when I get a proper camera and flash again)
