As promised, here's more.
If you can you've gotta go (not on commission)

(Too many more to post)
Still water - and there's the wife
Water, granite, leading lines
The wife - again. She gets everywhere
Privileged to watch this mink hunt and fish for a while - and spit out caterpillars eaten by it's froggy dinner
Nice - Canada is one of the places on my 'Lottery win' visit lists

Gorgeous pics Graham, gorgeous.
Very nice Graham, I like the boat and the water+granite the best. I have only been to Toronto and found it quite beautiful.
Lovely, I like the forest floor close up and the water and granite leading lines the best.

Well done Graham, all great images, can you give details of how you took the one of the boat?
Thanks all for the comments. Wow, what a difference a great location makes. One couple thought my photography had vastly improved inside of a couple of weeks (I wish), but no, it was all down to location, location, location. Plus a bit of walking. All the lessons learnt from less forgiving locations paid dividends.
Easy, big warm coat, something close to sit on.
Tripod, flash (oh yeah camera), remote release.
Location with very little ambient light and clear skies.
Very long exposure (the remote allows me to trigger to begin and trigger to end, on bulb setting)
Walk around boat firing the flash repeatedly - I had the flash set to minimum power).
I still underexposed a little (by around 0.75 of a stop).
Post processing to adjust exposure. There were a few spots of colour on the side of the boat due to a distant streetlight shining through some bushes, so cloned them out.
It took a few goes to get the right combination (exposure between 5 and 12 minutes) and the right number of flashes (I would stand in several places, shade the flash/camera angel with my hand, and trigger the flash a certain number of times).
I had never seen the Milky Way before that night either.

Lovely pics of a beautiful area...
Wow! Canada and there is no snow! Just joking, since every time I've been to Canada has been during the winter
Anyhow Graham, great job! The one pic of the boat is beautiful!
Thanks for sharing details about it.
The others are also nice, I think I like the close up to the grass as second best.

Thanks Richard and Tono for your comments.
I'm always interested to find out what other people see. The boat - surprised at the response for that (I do like it myself, my faves are the panorama and the still water). No wonder I'm crap at comps. Must learn to see like the judges.
