The pseudo "shadow" that you must be seeing is an artifact from the "cleaning" process I did. This was done in a haste because I am merely trying out the concept about how silverware photography works. What I did learn from this action was that you need to surround the silverware with a very large white reflecting element or light source so the specular reflections will be all white. What's left for the dark areas are the outline of the silverware. I will post another shot without the cleaning so you can see the difference. Also, I changed the angle of the plastic film from 45 degrees to almost 30 degrees and I'm pretty sure it would make a difference on the angle and texture of the shadows. I'm a total novice on this kind of photography so don't take my words for it. I'm simply having fun learning this new stuff. Pics to follow.

I don't think you can buy light bulbs like that around here; very creative lighting though. I like the detail in the spoons captured with spot on exposure, no shiny bits, very good.
