    Some may remember

Back in January or there about I posted the below shot. While well recieved, many wanted to see the vines full of leaves for comparison. I returned to the park during the summer and while full of leaves and all dark green...I found it dull and un-inspirational. Today was a different story.

Thanks mark. Yes it is very slightly tone mapped. I do very little tone mapping/HDR. My taste is that if done it should not be obvious. I went light but a little stronger than I like.

It was tone mapped with a single exposure in SNS-HDR. It takes a little practice to get out of it what you want without overdoing it. However starting with a well exposed image makes it a bit less work and the final output is generally better.

Very nice Paul. The first one is the best though in my opinion. It looks a bit desolate, you can see that beautiful lettering and there is the unobstructed view on the lake (?). It conveys a certain atmosphere that looks great.
