    How quickly the light changes

    Took a walk down the dock yesterday. Took these three photos in order about 15 min apart.

    This first is a bit blown as I was trying to see if I would get flare. I still like the shot for the mood.

    Yes 3 is nice. 1 and 2 would have been great in different light - have you tried doing a black and white on those?

    Now, I'm the awkward one here. I think #1 and #2 are wonderful, moody images and #3 is 'just' a nice sort of image of a lake with houses and trees. But that probably says much more about me than the images.

    I think the light on the trees in #2 is just wonderful. And, yes, the big blown bit in #1 means it's not going to win prizes, but, the light on the water and on the boats is super.
