    Sooo much space!

    Not having seen it for myself, I am aware that lens angle, without some known size object, could mislead me.
    The first is 22mm on a 1.6x crop body, so kinda wide angle, but not too far off normal.

    Yes it is big and dry, just so not what I see in UK.

    I think that means they do speak for themselves

    I didn't mean to give the impression that Australia is all horrible desert, see Ucci's thread elsewhere. Here's a more conventional one from the Flinders Ranges area that shows more of a green and pleasant land.

    Actually I rather like the open spaces.
