My thoughts, but with that much foreground, I'd like something to be there that would either direct my eye, or give my eye a resting point before entering the scene. Just seems a wide open "nothingness" and for me, it kills the luciousness of the sky and water. Next time, when composing such a shot as this, try to find a slight rise, a rock or shell or...?? that allows the eye to ease into the shot, and perhaps, at some point, ease out.
This is fast and quite crude...but I think gets the point across...and of course, as always, it is just one person's opinion.
