Run ladies...

A couple (2 actually) big fat spiders. One was sunning his belly. The last one was trying to say something with -that- marking on his back.

Brilliant shots Bobo, full of great detail.

I think my favourites are #1 and #2.
#2 especially with its clarity and wonderful bokeh.

They're like a spidery string quartet, no doubt playing, 'Requiem for a fly'

Great images and I don't see anything to fear - In fact, I enjoy seeing Wolf and Jumping Spiders about the house, it means none of the other pest insects will be around for long.

Thanks Mike - really have no idea about their sex. But if you say they are then they are.

Tommy - the bush was on the side of a path. A couple of ladies were coming up with their dogs and got inquisitive about what I was doing. The thread title was their reaction to the spider.

John - thanks, the 70-300L. Its MFD at just under 4 feet is pretty good for closeup. The spider pics were taken with a 20mm tube attached.
