You are going to lose friends of the female persuasion with these.
Nice capture.
Thanks Peter. Well they have been "captured" so it -should- be safe!![]()
Brilliant shots Bobo, full of great detail.
I think my favourites are #1 and #2.
#2 especially with its clarity and wonderful bokeh.
They're like a spidery string quartet, no doubt playing, 'Requiem for a fly'![]()
The title should be "Run ladies... Get your Cameras !"
Great images and I don't see anything to fear - In fact, I enjoy seeing Wolf and Jumping Spiders about the house, it means none of the other pest insects will be around for long.![]()
Thanks Mike and Steaphany. Oh, there were flies at the edges of the web lost to the cropping.
I am of the male pursuasion and I am already running!![]()
Good detail,Bobo and another very nice bokeh in no. 2 -what lens are you using ?
Thanks Mike - really have no idea about their sex. But if you say they are then they are.
Tommy - the bush was on the side of a path. A couple of ladies were coming up with their dogs and got inquisitive about what I was doing. The thread title was their reaction to the spider.
John - thanks, the 70-300L. Its MFD at just under 4 feet is pretty good for closeup. The spider pics were taken with a 20mm tube attached.
LOL but you would'nt have.
They were only about an inch long, legs included.
Great series of photos. I particularly like #2.
Thanks Philip.
