    Alright, you pixel pickers , I don't like those halos either. they crept in when I downsized from a 110Mb tif to a 560Kb Jpeg and applied an unsharp mask. Don't know if I'll clone out the leaf? - thats how it was on the day. I'll sort the halos out and repost it and maybe print it out.

    Had a go at fixing the halos and I cloned the leaf out. This photo looks substantially better in its original format - 110MB TIF. I can't get the edges of the posts as crisp as I'd like in the Jpeg version. Overall though I'm happy with it.

    Hi Mark,

    Well stop pixel peeping then

    I know what mean, but full size (in Lyte box) at normal viewing distance it is fine - the 700px version in the thread looks jaggy, but that's just the way these things are.

    The sharpening looks ok to me now, even on the sand.
