Lovely photo - to be young again. Excellent focus and shutter speed.

There was a well-known shot in the 1980's, I think, of a kid playing under a running hose, during a drought in the UK. I can't find it, but yours reminds me of it, and it's very good. You have caught the water very well. Nice shot, indeed.

    Wonderful Thierry
Such fun to be there at just the right moment - then to record it so well.

Can I preface my comments by saying that if I were still using film I would be using more black & white than slide stock.
The reason for that comment is that this is not necessarily the kind of shot that you would expect in monochrome. Holiday shots are in colour surely.
But then look again. Yes the dof would work in both media, but the moody dark tones in the background that perfectly contrast the excellent skin tones would be lost to a range of busy colours, which would do little for the foreground image.
So not only do we have a lovely picture of a child on holiday, conveying all the joys of splashing in the water, but an excellent composition and conversion, and above all, the perfect choice of media.
    It's a winner.

Thanks for your comment Mike. I have some friends who are hobby photographers likeme. I've recently seen some b&w film pictures and the impact is different. When I came back home and checked my raw files, I felt that this picture will have more impact into b&w than basically with colors. I can't say more, it was just a feeling

Now that you have seen the b&w it could be perhaps of interest to see the color version and to discuss my initial choice ?

    Enjoy vacations

I'm sold on the b&w Thierry, but either way it's a beautiful photograph.

I agree with Mike, either version is a keeper for sure. This is a great example of why I like candid shots
