Shepparton is the nearest ' big' city to our small country town. It is closest to us for serious shopping. Had to go there yesterday. And I caught up with the latest doings of these city folk. Apparently they have this genetic manipulation programme where they can predictively breed bovines for specific purposes. I was told that this lot were bred as home decorative items for the local Yuppy market as talking points to impress their Chardonney swilling mates.

Very cool looking cows Ken.Well done on the photo taking side too.They have Alligators standing around Gainesville Fla like that and now you have made me wish to take photo's of them.Love the Salvador Dali cow.Thanks for sharing these images...Ron

In Albuquerque, New Mexico (which as the license plates state is "New Mexico, USA") they had a contest for high school art students to paint cows which were displayed in and around local businesses. The cows were then auctioned off with proceeds going to high school art programs. My grandaughter won a spot for a painted cow and I lived in fear that my wife would bid on it and win.
