    Sony Alpha A100/Minolta 70-210 3.5-4.5,ISO100,handheld.

I`m very pleased with the performance of this lens, bought for £70 in a local dealer.

It`s often overshadowed by its big brother the so called "beercan"

For comparison this shot with Konica Minolta 18-70 kit lens.Cost me £40on ebay.I think I`ve got a good copy of this often maligned lens.

Shame I got the focus on the upper flower head though.

    Cheers and thanks for looking

Looks like you've got a couple of lenses there that are more than adequate for the job.

I agree with your own critique of the second image. The first one is well done.

Hi David, it looks like it is sharp enough to crop just the top one for a keeper!
