Now that appeals to me Willie. It's simple and well executed. Would look good on the wall, and 50% of your viewers will say "Why?"

    Hi Willie
Another winner. I particularly like the way the light falls on the central pattern of decay and damage. The textures and colours are beautifuly captured and as sharp as a stand up comedian. The rust hues on the hook certainly complement the central part of the image, drawing my eye to the central focal point and not away from it. Very clever composition. I dread to think how much time, effort and fussing about you put into getting it set up 'just right." The subtle background is 'just what the doctor ordered.' Mind you, if I really want to see an example of 'rustic decay,' I just have to look in the nearest mirror!

Gorgeous Willie. That rich texture is difficult to do well. Lovely capture and PP'd to perfection

Thanks, Donald. I will be posting a tutorial on how to add this effect to an image soon. I just need to prepare the images for posting. Thanks.

Thanks, Ron. There was some dodge and burn effect added to the image. This style works well with textured images so I added it for some nice effect. I'll post the tutorial soon. Thanks.

Great texture Jiro. I use a light bump mapping to enhance texture. It seems to work quite well. When i first viewed it I thought you had gone a bit far but this sort of image needs to be viewed BIG. Its worth standing back from the monitor to get the best out of this one.
