Willie or Jiro is fine by me.

    Blossoming.

I walked towards the backyard a couple of minutes ago hoping to see something nice to photograph. I was not forcing myself to photograph anything, just looking around. The sunflowers are almost dried up since I went to L.A. while some of them are still unopened waiting for their time to blossom. An idea came to my mind - why not take a shot of an unopened sunflower and see what I can do with it in PP. Here is the result of my idea:

    Blossoming.

Thank you very much for viewing.

Nikon D70, 50mm lens, ISO 200, f/3.2 at 1/400 second. Edited in LR and Photoshop.

Jiro, I love your PP work. I know this may have not been your intention but the PP reminds me of a sort of micro photography...

    like this!

I really like how you have brought out the shapes, and pattern here, Jiro. Any chance we can see the original you started out with?

Hey Willie, you really are a problem to me, old son. Just when I reckon you are at the top of the curve and really couldn't possibly do any better, of course, just to be difficult, you do so! And this post is a case in point! A truly lovely shot. But Willie, I am starting to run out of fresh words of praise and am at very high risk of becoming boringly repeatative is commenting on the excellence of your posts. Fortunately such a failing will not happen to your art and it will always be 'well worth a look ' by those of us who truly appreciate its freshness and beauty. Thanks for sharing yet another of "Willie's Wonders."
