I've got a focal length question: My 35mm 1.8 lens is a DX lens for my DX camera (D5100) I see in my information window that is beside my images and in parenthesis it says "35mm equivalent 52mm" I'm a novice with this stuff and I'm thinking that if the 24mm focal length of the X100 is the same as 35mm on a 35mm camera then it would a noticeably shorter focal length, hence a wider angle than my current lens. That might be really nice as sometimes I do find myself wishing for a little wider angle. Can anyone confirm this for me?

. But it really is a hell of a camera with superb image quality. Working with just the one lens mounted on the camera makes you think more about point of view, cropping and so on. However for very fast action shoots this camera is not the right choice, but for street photography it's very useful. It's really quite, hard to hear the click!
