    No- not as sharp as could be. I don't see a particular focal point either.

    Hi John,

    No, the first one isn't as sharp as it could be, I think it just needs a bit work on the sharpening in PP, but it must be done carefully and without a threshold set, or you get the effect we begin to see in the second, where some bits (e.g. high contrast edges) become sharp and the rest just looks like mush

    Might respond to Focus Magic (Lens blur) with a 1 pixel radius or there abouts.

    Thanks for the comments, gives me a bit of hope that a sharp image can be achieved prior to the PP.
