Short photo essay - riding public transit

A few shots I took riding public transit from home to downtown. Wednesdays are free for us seniors,, so time to explore a little.

    1. Tunney's Pasture Station - Construction - the western leg of the system is still under construction and scheduled to open in 2026. You can still see some of heavy equipment working on the extension.

    Nice work.

Here in NZ those over 65 get free public transport during off-peak and weekends.

I've always wanted to replicate a cool transport photo I saw once where someone had taken a shot whilst on a moving bus; they'd placed the camera in an open window in such a way as the right hand side captured the inside of the bus and the left hand side had an appropriate amount of motion blur of the scene outside; it made for a shot that I thought was quite cool.
