    Hi Jim,
Thanks for commenting. I was shooting downward towards the water, the reflection is from the sun.

I like it John...I will never think of taking a shot like that...now I will learn how to be more observant of things around me, no matter how small and seemingly uninteresting they are to me at the time...very nice...

    Hi Izzie,

I often find myself at a loss when looking for non-human subjects, something usually comes to me when I let my mind drift off in a daze.

Good spot of subject and lighting. Like your duck image, I like the way you have positioned the creature in the frame, not to the 'rules' but works for me

Well spotted, John, I would never have anticipated a spider shot from your title. A pirate, maybe, or a spinster, but...

Besides a very interesting shot we learn there's a bit of a poet in you. The image and the title suggest a children's book.

    Hi John,
Wonderful image... I love the sharp spider, sun effect and beautiful green colours! I wish I could find a spider, somewhere so I could try this, too.

Sharing my personal preference... I'd crop it square off of the backside, leaving just the beautiful spider, suns and a vast green sky.

    Hi Christina,

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. Spiders are always where you don't want them to be.
