I'm looking forward to your Haida Gwaii posts. Without a doubt it is one of the most "magical" places I've visited in Canada. It's one of the few places I've been that I would like to visit again.

It's too bad that the geothermal pools on Hot Spring Island stopped working a few years ago, after the area was hit by an earthquake.

I'll post more soon, but it's your own fault for encouraging me. BTW that shot of yours (mountain peak) in Nepal/Himalayas is breathtaking. Re; the hot springs, there are still many locations were they still exist, but the area is a hot spot for earthquakes as the former Queen Charlotte Island area is an extension of the San Andria's fault I believe.
