I tried a few other viewpoints (including a head on), but unfortunately they didn't turn out as well. When I get home, I'll post those as well...

I don't have any problem with it being on a horizontal twig, instead of vertical (can work either way); but I would selectively slightly tone down the background highlights.

I love this shot apart from the highlights...both the critter and the wood it is crawling on is full-on textures. Beautiful. Well done.
