I like this a lot but had to think why. I think it is the geometry that makes it: the perspective with the straight lines, the semicircular end of the tunnel, the corrugated roof, etc. Then there are the interesting colours and interplay of light and shade, and the different textures.
Nice.
If I may add to Tony's assessment of this shot -- colourful artifacts (graffiti) -- I used to snoot at those in the past but some are really nicely and adds to the character of a place. Here it just adds colour. I also like the natural flow of the water. I am glad you did not do a slow shutter speed in this shot...
This is quite nice, Kim. For an alternative look, consider cropping at the bottom to eliminate the foreground material. Doing so places a bit more emphasis on the graffiti.
Thanks John, Izzie, and Mike. I like natural water Izzie, so rarely will I slow the shutter speed. Thanks Mike, I'll give that a try.
I too like it a lot, the ice really makes it![]()

Hi Kim, I like the shot, a lot of texture and color. I agree with Mike about the crop![]()
Its a great capture Kim no doubt, however I somehow feel the image is not sharp or maybe it could be due to lower resolution?
Nice capture Kim, looks freezing brrrr![]()
