I was inspired by Grahame's Beqa Island post to play with a Before and After image. It is not dramatically different after the post processing but by using the Lightbox to flip back and forth, it makes it much easier to see the differences between the SOOC and final result.

Here is the SOOC with cropping and sharpening:



And here is the final result until C&C changes that may get applied:

Yes John, that is what intrigued me about this scene. Makes me wonder how in the world they are going to assemble those blades into a finished wind power generator!

Seeing your version makes we wonder if I shouldn't have left the trucks and stacked blades darker and just brought out the texture in the two blades in the foreground?

Yes Frank - I found some of the other stuff distracting, particularly the fence/advertising boards (which I darkened) and the car (which I cloned out). A gentle vignette was also added, to reduce everything around the two transported blades.

Frank and Philip -- flipping the pictures on the before and after makes it look like turning a light on and off. I wonder if you can incorporate Philip's black and white version on one of the coloured one of yours, Frank? Wouldn't that make a spectacular transistion?

Nice demonstration of how much difference subtle changes can make. Those are some large blades. That's why there are so many combustion turbines around.

Hi Izzie, if you are asking to be able to morph between the color and monochrome versions, you can do that now. All it takes is for the images to be in sequence and for the image size and crop to match, which they do in this case.
