    Red lanterns

    Hello

Here is a picture taken by night inside a house in Hoi An (central Vietnam) without extra light: I took the ceiling covered with red lanterns

I was forced to mount ISO hight because despite the number of lanterns, the place was still dark.

Thank you for your opinions, comments, criticisms, encouragement.

    Best regards

    Sylvain

sylvian, it goes without saying that you captured the scene well. However the colors give the scene potential for much more...perhaps going with an out of focus, surreal look. Just a thought.

Thank you very much for the advice.
Next time, in the same situation, I'll try it.

    Thank you again

Sylvain - good capture of what is a difficult subject. If you're shooting again also think about making one of the lanterns the one you want to draw our eyes to as I find my eyes roaming around the shot and not 'landing' anywhere.

    This multiplicity of lanterns appeals.

    Nice capture!

Colorful and nice, but I agree with Kaye in her comments (#7 post) -- just concentrate on one or two amongst the myriads.

    Hello,

Thank you very much for your recommendations and encouragement.
Well note, next time I will focus on only one or two lanterns.

    Best regards

    Hello,

I tried a new treatment on this pic.
Please let me know if it works better or worth?

    Thank a lot
