I would love to visit the Philppines again. It is one of the most lovely and photogenic countries I have ever visited but, the warmth and friendliness of the beautiful Filipino people is the main attraction for me!
BTW: Did you ever visit the Grand Canao in Bagiuo? That is a really fun venue with a lot of local color to photograph!

Captured communist-rebel camp. @ Lake Ambulalakaw,Mt. Tabayoc, Benguet, Philippines.
Roughly 350kms north of Manila. Taken when I went back for a solo bike tour around the mountains 10Dec2012.
In the picture is Manong Rudy, a rebel-returnee, now working for the Philippine Army. He served as my guide to his former camp along the banks of Lake Ambulalakaw. Unfortunately, when we got to his ex-camp, it was covered with fog. Pictures taken with Nikon D3100. kit lens:18-55mm.
Typical road conditions during monsoon rains.
Twas on-off rain that day.
Down on the botton right is the narrow road going up here.
On the opposite mountain range is Mt. Timbak,

All beautiful places you've been to. I was born in Cavite but never seen much of it. I have never been back since I left. What a crave for are what we call over here as 'street food' and parols. So next year I will prepare early to have a Filipino Christmas for 2014. Maybe the parols will be cheaper to buy after January 6th.
Beautiful capture of the light in the image with the motorcycle... I adore #21 for the sheer beauty you captured beautifully.
Thank you for sharing all of these Victor..When I was in London I saw a similar celebration , I think Chinese people have the same celebration with a different date.As far as I remember they celebrated in March, but I'm not sure because it was quite a long time ago.I like your landscape photos as well, beautiful places![]()
