Vegetable terraces. While most terraces in Banaue/Hapao/Battad/Mayoyao,Ifugao and in Bay-yo, Bontoc are rice terraces. The terraces here in Benguet province are planted with vegetables.

I would love to visit the Philppines again. It is one of the most lovely and photogenic countries I have ever visited but, the warmth and friendliness of the beautiful Filipino people is the main attraction for me!
BTW: Did you ever visit the Grand Canao in Bagiuo? That is a really fun venue with a lot of local color to photograph!
Sir,
re: Grand Canao. It's a pleasant surprise you know a lot about the premier festivities of the mountain people around Baguio.
This place , Mt. Sto Tomas, 10kms or so from Baguio city hall, just held their own version of a "grand canao" this recent new year's eve.

In the picture is Manong Rudy, a rebel-returnee, now working for the Philippine Army. He served as my guide to his former camp along the banks of Lake Ambulalakaw. Unfortunately, when we got to his ex-camp, it was covered with fog. Pictures taken with Nikon D3100. kit lens:18-55mm.

All beautiful places you've been to. I was born in Cavite but never seen much of it. I have never been back since I left. What a crave for are what we call over here as 'street food' and parols. So next year I will prepare early to have a Filipino Christmas for 2014. Maybe the parols will be cheaper to buy after January 6th.
Beautiful capture of the light in the image with the motorcycle... I adore #21 for the sheer beauty you captured beautifully.
