I get to step 4 (blend) i see the message 'blending into a noise free image & saving result as blend_165214.tif' then windows message pops up stating ZN has stopped working, all i can do is click the 'close program' button on the popup.

Hi, very interested in your program. I want to try developing the no-noise raw file you offer, but the download link does not seem to work.

Some people have reported Windows 7 64 working fine with ZN, some others seem to have problems. I don't know why.

Did you try to leave the program run even if it appears to say 'stopped working'?. I didn't add any screen refresh (DoEvents in VB6) commands into the heavier calculation loops, so if you try something on the GUI while the program is working it displays 'Non responding', but it is all fine, just needs some extra time to finish calculations.

"Plan B" might be for users having trouble to download XP Mode, which effectively runs Windows XP on top of Windows 7 as a virtual machine.

You'll need windows 7 premium or better to install xp mode.

Perhaps it's just a matter of having a proper build of DCRAW (Win 7 64 bits needs a special binary to run properly).
Builds for all Win platforms can be found here: http://www.rawness.es/dcraw/?lang=en
