    Some plain old photos

Hi everyone -- I've been soooo busy -- but was out in my garden this morning, camera in hand.

#1 is a "vintage" treatment of one of my roses:

    Some plain old photos

#2 -- I don't know if this one works -- maybe I should have moved the ladder But I really liked the light. I could try again tomorrow . . .

    Some plain old photos

I think I agree with the question your raising. I'm trying to 'see it' without the ladder, but also without that chair. But I think it does need to chair.

    I like the rose.

Most probably I would keep the chair and get all the bicycle inside.
Also some ray/beans of light could be added burning ... incense ? Or does this sound too odd ?
Burning incense can easily be confined to avoid fires. and would create a mystery to the scene.

Too many leading lines that take the eyes to the top of the photograph.

They both look fine to me.

I should post some pics of my shed with the door opened.

Now if you want something to pick apart, just a disgusting mess, wait till I get a pic. or two, then have at it.

Thanks, guys -- I guess nice light in and of itself a picture does not make. I like the flower, though.
