    Lucy's Bored

Lucy is bored and thinks all this packing stuff is dumb. She's concerned that I haven't packed her toy basket.

Great pic -- on my monitor, there's a little blue cast to her face and the other shadows, but what a great face that is. What kind of a dog is Lucy, may I ask? She's adorable.

I noticed the blue cast too and assumed she was watching the TV

What else would she be doing if her toy basket is all packed

You know, I bet the T.V. was on. I see a bit of a cast on her chest and around her eyes. The yellows in the bed and the green walls and her collar, on my monitor, are true to how I see it in real life. The lighting in my bedroom is very poor and the sun was behind the big pine trees so it is what it is.

    It's not a spread... it's a quilt.

Lucy says, 'Thanks.' She's much happier without all that hair. I got my hair cut today... it matches my avatar now... short. My hair was way outa control when I had lunch with you.

I'm impressed... duvet? There's more to Chris than amazing photography skills... and Mini Coopers.

My mother is (well, was at one time) a marvelous quilter. I have a number of her quilts and probably an equal number of Duvet's my great aunt made and three absolutely incredible Afghan's my grandmother knitted for me years ago. My versing is honestly earned from a long line of ladies handy with threading materials.

I'm jealous. My Gran used to sew everything and made some amazing things. I have some of the clothes that she designed and made for my mom when she was a teenager. Incredible hand-work. I have 2 quilts that I cherish that my Great-Granny made and a few other pieces of needlework. When both my Great-Granny and my Great-Nanny died the family emptied out their farmhouses and took EVERYTHING to the dump! I guess because they grew up with it they thought it was just junk! I hope someone had enough vision to see the value in all their things and salvaged them.
