    Canada Geese in Flight

Taken this morning on the banks of the River Thames. Although cold the weather was sunny and spring like. This must have been picked up by the bird-life as there were many swans, geese and ducks taking to flight and even a heron.

This is a pair of Canada Geese.

Willie or Jiro is fine by me.

I like the contrast on the wings, Chris with the latter flapping upward while the former goes downward. Though the specular reflection on the water is a bit distracting (overpowering the birds) I think it is still a nice image. I wonder how your shot would look like if a polarizing filter was used with the lens? Nice work.

Thanks Jiro. I have in fact changed the image as I felt the original was too dark. This has also toned down the dominance of the water a tad.
