Horse Jumping with canon 35 mm f2

I tried today this lens which is known to have a weak AF. Effectively it is not a sport lens. For review, I submit one of my shot made under AI SERVO with Canon 7D

    cheers

No matter which lens you use, you have mastered the ability to make these type of images. This is beautifully sharp and crisp. A magnificent study of horse and rider working together.

That looks like a lovely and sharp photo to me! Seems like a nice focal length for times when you can get close to the fence.

nice shot, it would interesting to know if you cropped the image ? for a close shot at F2 i wouldnt have expected the tower to be in focus ,cheers martyn

Nice shot. I love the expression on the horse's face, he seems to be enjoying his job.

Thanks Donald. I had two goals in this picture : to shoot very close of the fence and really estimate the AF of this lens. if you prealign the AF on the fence it could be used in such situation but it could not be compared to USM lenses.
