Which treatment of this shot do you prefer

I think I know which one I like the best, but would like some other thoughts - good, bad, or otherwise.
    Thanks for looking!

Well, I think the colours are so striking that it has to be a colour version. And I think the composition of #2 is better. So, it has to be #2. Great shot - very striking indeed. Well done.

Thanks Rob. It might have been easier if I didn't hate yellow so much.
I do like the square crop better as well, but in B&W I think I prefer the 2:3 aspect ratio crop better.

Thanks for the feedback and the compliment!

    Hi Steve

My favourite is the b&w square crop. For me, it brings out the little spider really well. I like the flower being placed off-centre and the contrast of the b&w is beautiful. Having said that, I do like the colour square crop as well.

    Nice work!

Well, I guess I'm in the wrong place if I'm looking for a consensus!
Thank you for the nice comments though. I'm thinking I'll get both squares printed and framed and hang them together.
A monument to indecision if you will ...

I like number 1 the best. For my eye it helps to see the size of the flower in relationship to the spider or is it the size of the spider in relationship to the flower. Also I prefer the color to B&W.
