Ferryside beach - BW and extreme colour.

These were shot this evening at my local beach a couple of miles away.

C&C welcome. All shot with Canon 5D and 24-105L, with ND grad filters.

One of these days... way off in the future... I will maybe be able to capture something as wonderful as you did. Thanks for sharing.

    Yep, all crackers.

If I was only allowed one, then it would have to be Dune Fence. The way the grass looks in Dune Path is magical, but I think that, for me, there's more of a 'harmony'/balance between grass, fence and sky in Dune Fence and I thinks it's processed into being a much more interesting sky. But I might change my mind by tomorrow!

You can hear silence? To touch to hidden? To inhale beauty? All photo amaze.

And not drop of fluffy water or a polished rock in sight. Very impressed and up to your usual exquisite quality standard

Not bad, Rob...not bad at all...I think we all aspire to get to your level, both in craft and understanding. I have to go with #1 as I find the fence in#2 a tad on the brash side against the softness made by the grass...but, like Donald, I might also change my mind tomorrow.

Very nice work Rob. I really have not decided on a favorite, they all have so much that I like.

Especially the BW's do strongly appeal to me.
Really good processing and beautifull tones throughout the grass. I like #2 the most.
    Well done Nosferatu :-)

Stunning images Rob. One thing I particularly like about Across the Pond is the pattern of the sand in the lower right quadrant. That really grabbed my attention.

    Keep up the good work!

Yes, I was attracted to that as well when I shot it, but I do like #2 as well. I'm surprised I got so many decent shots in just 2 hours. It's like that sometimes, isn't it? The other day I took about 40 shots and ended up deleting every one of them. I was lucky today with the weather and light - the clouds make the colour ones.

    Hi Rob,

Just catching up on some posts and as Katy said all have said it before. #2 in my favourite B & W while the colours are great I go with #3. A good day’s shooting for sure.
