You won't be surprised if I say that I like the fuchsia. I have never seen a real one and I wonder if the leaves in the upper left corner could use a bit of burning and maybe a slight warming of the bluish colour.
As for the door, It is of course a well executed photo but itis definitely not my cup of tea.
P.S. The forum is slow but usable tonight.
I like that they're completely different subjects but both lean heavily on color and texture. The fuchsia shot has beautiful separation against the black background, and the detail in the petals and stamens really stands out. The old blue door works for the opposite reason the peeling paint, worn brickwork, and faded colors give it a lot of character. Funny how two photos taken a day apart can feel like they're from entirely different worlds.
