    Forum

I have found the performance of the Forum most satisfactory for the last week or so.
Are other members having a similar experience........
    Thank you.

Better for the past week or two, but deteriorating markedly over the past few days. I just had it take 17 seconds to load the first time, and when I tried to post this the first time, it timed out.

    Re: Forum

The way I see it, we are again seeing a lot of random variation, worse than a week or two ago but not (yet) nearly as bad as it was at its worst. Just now, it was very fast for me, but yesterday, it timed me out.

Lately, on average, it's been good enough that I decided to partiicpate again (obviously). Here's hoping the trend goes in the right direction.

Not perfect but an acceptable speed now, although I felt somewhat irritated when a couple of text lines disappeared when I clicked on Reply

When uploading images I now just place the links on a blank page and upload them, then add any text as an edit, so I don't lose too much when I get a timed out failure

This problem has happened to me before on occasion where clicking Reply results in the disappearance of some of the text. It’s great that you have come up with the solution of uploading the pictures first and then typing the text, just in case something goes wrong when the session expires.
