Ethereal: Infinite Textures
I've added a few more organic pieces and changed the lighting. Gridded ring light replaced by a plain reflector and the snoot replaced by bare-bulb flash.

I prefer this lighting arrangement. The brownish wicker balls are also a better fit than the orange ones.

I like the use of depth and how the wicker elements are spaced; it creates a nice sense of distance. The smoke adds a lot of movement and ties things together. Personally, I think the white vase pulls too much attention away from the more interesting textures. I’d be curious to see this composition with the vase removed and replaced by additional wicker elements to keep everything visually consistent.

Thanks for the comments Andre and Daniel
I personally find this one a bit busy, so will be using a similar lighting approach, but with fewer objects in the shot to simplify the image. As the whole series is based on the vases, I intend to keep them, but I have been thinking of doing a series of "organic" items only, likely with some smoke.
I prefer having one or more bright, colourful elements as they draw viewer attention. As an aside, when I print the red wicker, it is out of gamut for the printer inkset and papers I use and the balls are a lot more brown than red. That is challening to replicate with the online images.
