The Girl on the Train
This is a shot that I took at one of the dress rehersals at the Kanata Theatre production of "The Girl on the Train". I was commissioned to do the artwork (shots of smoke that were coloured and assembled in Photoshop) that we can see here.
Needless to say I have no experience in theatrical photography, so this was a learning experinece.

Daring to try is how we learn. Good job with the smoke.

Was the background smoke stationary or changing Manfred? Presumably it was changing, and projected, if so from the back? Impressive result, which fits the mood! I did read the book, but this seems deeper.

Bottom right corner figure seems slightly soft. Motion blur? The steps are sharp. Poor light may have required slow shutter speed.
Also a bit tight on the shoes.
