    White & Black #3

    I started to play a bit with depth of field in this one. That is a bit of a challenge with a slow f/5.6 lens, but the background object is not as sharp as the foreground. My usual instinct in this type of shot is to stop down and keep the whole scene relatively sharp, but I wanted to experiment a bit.

    Going with your instinct would also be what I would normally choose. However, if you were to add a third vase further away then I think that going progressively softer would be the way to go.
