A nice image, but “serenity” is not what I associate with children of that age eating meals. I often eat with my young grandchildren, and “lively” is the weakest adjective I would use to describe mealtimes…

A personal observation is that a smaller spoon might be in order, but who am I to deny access to the 'grown up' spoon if that was requested.

The spoon was indeed big, but in the middle of a house move there wasn’t much to complain about it even came in handy. He didn’t even mind the size...
