    Serene Slope

The same photograph in colour and in black and white. Each version moves you in a unique way, both profoundly striking.
    .
The mountain displays crevices and sandy textures beneath a blue sky filled with clouds, in an unexpected harmony between the arid surface and the light. This image conveys contemplation and respect for nature, inviting the gaze to dive into the silence and the imposing presence of the landscape.

It is nice to see that you are much bolder with your post processing when you go to B&W. Two very different and striking interpretations of the same scene.

    Re: Serene Slope

I sincerely thank you for your kind words, André.
I recall with particular fondness the period of my soft sepia prints, which was deeply influenced by the inspiration I drew from LensWork magazine.
I still keep the many issues I collected over the years, and I regret having been forced to cancel my subscription due to the imposition of customs duties by the European Union—a measure I consider both unfair and unnecessary.
Those times brought me immense satisfaction, and perhaps, before long, I will return to black and white, since it remains an endless passion of mine.
