I am lucky to have been included in a juried exhibition at the Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG). This exhibition opened a week ago and runs through to October 19, 2025. The most important gallery in town is the National Gallery of Canada, which is just a bit above my level (and frankly most of the artists featured there are dead). The second most important gallery is the OAG, which is where the exhibition is taking place. There are works by 58 contemporary photographers on display there.
Being able to exhibit in a nationally recognized gallery is an opportunity that happens quite rarely, so I am quite pleased.
The only problem I have is that they painted the walls the same colour as my piece, so it fades into the background more than I would like it to. Galleries often paint the display walls for the shows.
