Blatant plagiarism
@Manfred : It is said that plagiarism is the sincerest form of flattery...
Found this fan in a drawer and could not resist having a go.

Well done. I really like the colour contrast between the fan and the background. I am almost tempted to dig into my wife's collection of fans from around the world and try some of these myself. She has some beautiful lace ones that might work well.

Works for me! Well done!
I have been thinking of printing these on Japanese washi paper (it's warm toned and textured with mulberry bark).
Once I can handle a camera again, I need to photograph some of the other fans that I have. Unfortunately, the pinched nerve in my neck means I have almost no fine motor control in my right hand, so I can't even manage a camera right now.

Thanks chaps, thus encouraged I might order a couple of fans on-line and try some more.
Sorry to hear about your nerve problem Manfred, hope it is soon resolved.

It’s interesting how many people rely on DOF calculators but forget that real-world factors like lens quality and light conditions matter. Much like using https://valismaa-kasiinod.com/hasart...u-kustutamine/ to manage restrictions, it’s about finding balance between technical tools and personal experience. Practical testing alongside theory usually gives the most reliable results.
