You certainly live in a beautiful part of the world.
All three panoramas are breathtaking. My preference goes to the first one with its strong central element and dramatic sky.

Yes they look good, although with the second one I would prefer a slight crop from the bottom to lose a bit of the road and a similar amount from the left side ?

Agree. It's quite a busy road so my concentration was split between composition and "what's coming up behind me!"

Very nice panoramas. I agree with Andre: I prefer the first. It's the most interesting, in part because of the jagged skyline.

If it were mine, I would put a good bit of time into more postprocessing. It's fairly drab as is. If you select everything but the sky, the histogram shows what I expected, which is a somewhat limited tonal range (although wider than I expected from the appearance). I would start with tonality to increase contrast and and make some texture adjustments, mostly local rather than global. I think I would also play with color, maybe using subtle changes in "selective color", to increase color contrast. The image is nice enough to make it worth this investment, IMHO.

Agree completely with everything Dan says about these.

It (well, the entire South Island...) is a spectacular place to take photo's, Summer and Winter.

This is a 7 image pano of the same area I took a long time ago. I have had it printed reasonably large and the detail is fantastic.

Wow ! Fabulous scenery and well shot too. While I like them as they are, I also agree with Dan that the first (and the last) suffer a bit from lack of colour contrast. B/w might improve the shots with a bit of dodging and burning, or what Dan suggested. Worth the effort in my opinion.
