Viaduct at Millau, southern France

The 2.5km viaduct that crosses the Tarn valley in the Aveyron, South of France, emerging from the clouds on a stormy day. It's an impressive sight, nearly 900 ft above the river.

A striking image, where the mist does not conceal but rather reveals the monumentality of the bridge with subtlety.
The fog wraps around the structure like a veil, highlighting the contrast between the lightness of the atmosphere and the silent strength of the engineering in a blend of mystery and fascination.
The black and white further enhances this ambiguity between the visible and the invisible, between what is clearly seen and what is merely suggested beyond the mist.
