    Vintage Grain Elevators.....

Captured in the rural farming community of Mossleigh.
These elevators were built in 1930 and like so many of these structures on the prairie were abandoned following the closure of rail lines. A consortium of farmers has at some considerable expense, partially restored the elevator in the background.
    C&C welcome

Len, the first detail that caught my eye was the lettering partially obscured by the pipe.
It’s a pity, as a small shift — perhaps just a few steps — could have avoided it without losing the overall framing of the image.
Other than that, I think it’s quite well done, although I must admit I’m not particularly fond of such a vertical crop.

Hi Antonio, thanks for your comments. I was aware of the chute partially blocking the Mossleigh wording on the side of the elevator. However moving the camera position would have introduced unwanted elements into the image.
I have attached an image taken from the other side of the elevators for comparison.....
