Cats are always independently minded and rarely agree to pose for you. Unless they are asleep they much prefer to be left alone to quietly lick their . . .
That is certainly an interesting pose.

He lost his left front paw in disagreement with a possum so he became an indoor kitty. This is his favorite spot, he was asleep and I shook the treat can and snapped the pic.
