There are useful video editing tutorials on the Adobe Premiere Rush pages.
I do my basic video editing work (starting from the raw captures) with the Motion option within Photoshop. Quite a bit of helpful advice in the form of Photoshop tutorials.
Then I assemble my video clips with Adobe Rush or, more often, with Photodek Pro Show; but that software isn't available now. They have been amalgamated with other companies who only do an annual charge to use and my usage isn't sufficient for upgrading to that. But the old Pro Show works well for me with creating slideshows and videos.
