I shot this web to use as texture backgrounds in composite images. The web was in the corner of a door opening with an outdoor light behind. The fuzzy fire/mist was produced using a hairdressers mist spray gun (lens got wet..but thats what what UV filters are for). The difficult part of this was getting a clear image from the web. The exposures were fairly long and the web shivered with the slightest air movement.

Thanks, Kay!
The web was framed in the back door. It was very dark outside but the light above the back door was providing indirect light on the web. AV mode, tripod (my very solid and heavy antique Bilora Stativ video camera platform), spot metering/focus on the web and a long wait until the web stopped quivering. As I said above the mist/fire is achieved by spraying a fine mist from a hairdressers spray during exposure.
