    Blast from the Past

    Here's a quick "mini-challenge" for you all ...

I was looking for a particular image that I seem to have "mis-filed", and in the process, discovered some images that I "passed over" imitially, but now - due to changes in perception and in PP tools, now appear to have more potential than I realised initially.

So here's a challenge for you ... have a look back through your collections of "passed over" images, and see if you can discover a "diamond in the rough".

    Here's mine:

I must admit I regularly go back as my skills and PS improve. Yes it is amazing what you find.

Definitely Harder than you can shake a stick at.

Here you go, try something hard. 27 frame HDR 18-20 levels Ortonised Panoramic perspective stitch I couldn't straighten up. Maybe if I spent all day on it, but wots the point when I can go and take a better selection of frames now.

Can't be in two halfs can it

This was taken with the cheapest lens on a camera I part exchanged with it at focal length 35mm and without any regard to parallax. My new lens is absolutely useless for panorama but I still have the 28mm prime which is good, and now I know it is possible to get around the white balance problem I might take it again.

    Re: Homer Alaska

I shot this one from the car at a traffic light and I can't still figure out why the photo came out like this. The signs can still be read, but I must have made a strange hand movement, otherwise I can't explain the lights angling up like they do.
To be honest, I wouldn't know how to reproduce this. Just looked at the exif data and it says ISO 100 and 1 second exposure.

Still, I like it for some reason.
