Nicely done, especially Lunch Break #2. While scrolling down I thought the waters edge was the remainder of the photograph. If you were to exhibit this photograph, how would you position this image?

John, I'm feeling particularly thick this morning and I don't understand your question. English is not my strong point!! Can you explain what you mean?

I'm a fan of all of them, they're all nice compositions and the wide depth of field works for me. I'm a big fan of "clouds", it would have been easy to go a little closer with a wider lens but I think you've got the perspective just right, it looks natural and well proportioned. I especially love the guy looking at the tether lines and how the image leads into the left where a group of people you can really isolate appears. Outlook uncertain is also great, I'd like to see it with a slightly lighter blue channel, I get the feeling that the blue has been darkened to accentuate the atmosphere but I wonder if its gone a little too far? Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Makes me want to go and take more black and white pictures.

    Thanks Richard.
I can certainly lighten the clouds by adjusting the blue channel, and that is a technique that I have used in the past. In this particular instance the image is almost an 'auto' conversion from the RAW image. The only adjustment is using levels, where I may have set the black and white points manually to get the 'look' I was after.
